One person in our party had a burger, which looked very tasty.

I wish we would have the opportunity to go back on this trip and try out some of the other meals and daily specials (and especially their breakfast!), but it'll have to wait until the next time we're back in town.

Had lunch here today. Everything was delicious. We couldn't even get halfway through our meal. Portions are big. We'll be back.

Prices were great. In a bigger city, food this quality would cost about twice as much.

I finally stopped in after hearing everyone rave about the place and lucky for me it happened to be wednesday and the special is walleye. This is the best walleye I have ever eaten I had a hearty bowl of stew and I am satisfied with my meal I will be back Next time I want to try the grilled pork chops. I snagged a piece of my sons ribeye and I will be back for my own. I live 2 and a half hours away so I am sad I wont get to try the breakfast especially the biscuits and gravy. The owner stopped by our table and thanked us for coming in which was really nice that were able to let her know how pleased we are that we stopped. Thank you for adding a nice place to dine in my sons neck of the woods.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Willard. Omelet and biscuits/gravy can't be beat anywhere in town. Dinner menu looks great, will definitely be back.

Great food service not so good.

Based on the reviews and having enjoyed Sherry's cooking before, I expected the food to be top notch and I wasn't disappointed. We went on "Walleye Wednesday" and almost everyone in our party had the walleye. Everything was fabulous, including the sides. The beans were perhaps the best I've ever had. It doesn't say it on the menu/sign, but you get all the beans and cornbread you want to eat with the walleye, so make sure to ask for more. I did. The jalapeno cornbread kicked things up a notch over plain cornbread. It was just perfect. Not too spicy (between mild and medium) and not overbearing, but adding a nice flavor to the cornbread. The fried potatoes were fresh and tasty, lightly salted and fried with onions and jalapeno slices. I've never seen that before, but I loved it! Being fried, the jalapenos were even milder but added flavor. The cole slaw was good. And of course, the walleye was fabulous! The pieces were a bit smaller than I expected but with all the other sides, the 4-piece satisfied. They also have a 6-piece.

The service was very attentive.
