First adjustment cost me $65 which was a health exam and the adjustment, he walked me step by step on what he was doing and why he was doing it, I asked if we needed an x-ray and he told me it was a waste of money which was refreshing to hear. I ended up having a fractured disc and by the time I left his practice about 70% of the initial pain from it was gone.
Now what impressed me the most about this whole experience (minus his ability) was he doesn't bullshit you, he doesn't milk your wallet, and he doesn't give you false promises, I believe he actually wants to help you more than get rich, which is rare in this day and age. I expected at least 2 sessions a week until the 6 week recovery period was over, after my second one he told me to come back in two weeks or sooner if I had any pain.
Each adjustment after my first visit costs me just $40 (I checked and locally it's all $100+ else where) I will also mention that my injury was not severe compared to some of the people he helps, mine was simply fractured disc and was slightly popped out so your results will vary on the injury for recovery.

Now he warned me I was going to hate him by the time I got home, I didn't hate him until the next day though :P First night I couldn't sleep from the aching and I was very stiff, the next day my back ached and I felt a lot of muscles in my back strained from the correction. The 3rd day came and it was like Christ himself touched my back, 99% of the pain was gone and all I had was a slight ache when I overworked my back (aka I was digging out a water line break for 14 hours with a shovel and a bobcat that kept breaking)
